Meet Jeff Bayne

JSB Grading LLC is owned and operated by Jeff Bayne, who has spent more than 40 years working in the grading business — and his whole life around it.

Jeff grew up around dirt work and never left it. After four decades of grading building pads, cutting driveways, and solving drainage problems across the Upstate, there isn't much South Carolina ground can throw at him that he hasn't seen before.

He founded JSB Grading in 2013 with a simple idea: do the work right, charge a fair price, and treat every property like it's your own. Since then the business has grown almost entirely on referrals and repeat customers — neighbors telling neighbors.

How we work

Every project starts with a free site analysis. Jeff walks the property with you, listens to what you're trying to do, and tells you plainly what it will take — and just as importantly, what it won't. No upselling, no vague estimates, no surprises when the invoice comes.

Then he does the work himself. No rotating crews, no hand-offs to the new guy. And when the job is done, he follows up to make sure the grade is holding, the water is going where it should, and you're happy with the result.
