Air compressor repair

When a compressor stops, production stops with it. We diagnose the actual failure and get you running, then tell you what it will take to keep it that way.

Overview

Air Compressor Repair

We repair rotary screw and reciprocating compressors from every major manufacturer, in the field, on your schedule. Emergency calls are answered 24 hours a day.

A compressor that has failed once will usually tell you why if you look properly. We check the supporting system (cooling, filtration, drains, supply voltage, ambient conditions) before we hand back a unit that is only going to fail the same way again.

Common repairs

  • Airend failure and rebuild. Bearing noise, rotor contact, seized units and full replacement.
  • Overheating. Coolers, thermostatic valves, oil condition, ventilation and ambient loading.
  • Pressure faults. Inlet valves, unloaders, minimum-pressure valves, regulators and leaks.
  • Oil carryover. Separator elements, scavenge lines, return orifices and overfilled sumps.
  • Electrical and control faults. Starters, contactors, VSD drives, sensors and shutdown alarms.
  • Dryers and drains. Refrigerated and desiccant dryer repair, failed drains and water in the lines.

Questions

About air compressor repair

Do you charge a call-out fee?

Pricing depends on distance, time of day and scope. We give you the rate structure up front before we dispatch, so there are no surprises on the invoice.

Can you repair a compressor you did not install?

Yes. Most of the equipment we service was installed by someone else, often years ago.

What if the compressor is not worth repairing?

We will say so. You will get the repair estimate alongside a replacement option and the reasoning behind the recommendation, so the decision sits with you.

Do you carry common parts on the truck?

We stock the wear items and consumables that cover most service calls. Major components are sourced quickly through our supplier network, and we will tell you the realistic lead time when we diagnose.

Most of our customers started with one of these and consolidated the rest. Fewer vendors, fewer handoffs, one number when something breaks.
