Sheet M-201 · installation

New system installation

When a repair stops making sense, we replace the system properly: sized to your house, installed to spec, and backed by a 10-year warranty on Trane and Coleman equipment.

Scope of work

What's included

  • Trane and Coleman system installation with 10-year warranties
  • Replacement installs for every brand — air conditioners, heat pumps, gas furnaces, and air handlers
  • Load-based sizing so the new system matches the house, not just the old nameplate
  • New refrigerant line sets, pads, and electrical disconnects as the job requires
  • Full commissioning: refrigerant charge, airflow, and thermostat setup verified before sign-off
  • Financing through Service Finance Company with quick pre-approval

Why it matters

The most common installation mistake isn't bad equipment — it's the right equipment in the wrong size. An oversized air conditioner cools the air fast and then shuts off before it has dehumidified anything, which in a South Carolina summer leaves the house cold and clammy at the same time. An undersized one runs flat out on the hottest weeks and never catches up.

Sizing the replacement to the actual house — insulation, windows, ductwork, orientation — is what makes a new system feel better than the old one ever did, and it's why we treat the estimate visit as a measuring exercise, not a sales call. Heat pumps earn their keep here in the Upstate, where winters are mild enough that a properly sized heat pump heats efficiently most of the season.

Equipment matters too: we install Trane and Coleman because both carry 10-year warranties, and we service everything we sell. If the budget is the obstacle, Service Finance Company financing can spread the cost with a quick pre-approval.

Procedure

How an install works

  1. Estimate visit

We look at the existing system, measure the house, and check the ductwork — then talk through what actually fits your budget and comfort complaints.

  2. Written quote

You get equipment options with real prices, warranty terms, and financing numbers if you want them. No pressure, no expiring "today only" discounts.

  3. Installation day

The crew pulls the old equipment, sets the new system, brazes and pressure-tests the line set, and pulls a proper vacuum before charging — the steps that decide how long a system lasts.

  4. Commissioning & walkthrough

We verify charge, airflow, and thermostat operation, register your warranty, and walk you through filters and settings before we leave.
